Kyle's Playground is Filled with Laughter and Smiles.

Our playground was made possible in part thanks to the support of the Kiwanis Club of Troy, Ohio. Strong community partnerships are not just helpful—they are essential. By working hand-in-hand with families, local organizations, and businesses, our school is able to provide richer opportunities, deeper support, and a stronger foundation for every student’s success. It's the Trojan Way!

Hearts Around the U.S.A.

Kyle’s second grade teachers facilitate a learning opportunity for their students titled “Hearts Around the U.S.A.” The lesson had application to language arts, math, social studies, and science. Students were able to hone their letter writing skills, count, track, and total the mail received, view states and countries on a map, and consider the weather of different locations. This lesson aligned with teacher-based team learning goals and contributed to a positive community learning environment for all students. This memorable student learning experience is one that students will treasurer throughout their academic journey. They reached their goal of receiving mail from every state in just 12 days (221 letters and packages by Feb. 12). In total, they received 800 cards, packages, and letters with the mail truck stopping at school more than once to deliver packages.

THS Senior "Clap-Out"

A recently created tradition that we're proud to be a part of is the clap-out of Troy High School Seniors as they visit their former elementary schools. This celebration is a great reminder that a child's academic journey is quick and filled with positive relationships. We love to see our former students be successful!

End of Year Fun Day!

For more than 20 years, Kyle Elementary has ended the school year with a beloved tradition—our annual student Fun Day. Thanks to the creativity and planning of our physical education teacher, Mr. Nawroth, students enjoy a variety of exciting stations that bring joy, laughter, and teamwork. It’s a day filled with smiles and memories, reminding children to look back on their elementary years with fondness.

The Trojan Way Lives Here

Field trips are purposeful, aligned with Ohio's Learning Standards, and fun. Grade-levels participate in walking and travel field trips throughout the school year to learn about our community and world.

Kyle's Annual K-2 Winter Concert

Each winter, Mrs. Hewitt, our music teacher at Kyle and Forest, brings the joy of music to life by coordinating a K–2 concert at Troy High School. The event fills the auditorium with families, cameras flashing, and hearts full—capturing memories that students and their loved ones will treasure for years to come.

Own it: "Be accountable!"
You matter: Respect yourself and others!"
